Please note that there are two upcoming events in San Francisco – Sunday Streets on March 9 and the St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 15 – that require temporary changes to certain Capitol Corridor motorcoach connection stops.

Sunday Streets: Sunday, March 9

As a result of the Sunday Streets activities in San Francisco on Sunday, March 9, the following temporary changes will be in effect between 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., affecting connections with Capitol Corridor trains 727, 728, 729, 732, 733, 734, 736, 737, 738, 741 and 742:

The San Francisco Ferry Building Annex (SFC) station will be moved a block west to Mission and Steuart streets. Station staff will be onsite at the Ferry Building to direct passengers to the alternate stop.

The San Francisco Fisherman’s Wharf – Pier 39 (SFW) and San Francisco – Financial District (SFF) stops will have no service. Passengers who normally use these stops should walk along The Embarcadero to Mission St. (total walking time 20-30 minutes) and then cross The Embarcadero and walk two blocks west on Mission St. Alternatively, passengers can take the Muni F – Market streetcar ($2 fare) to the alternate SFC stop.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade: Saturday, March 15

As a result of the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade in San Francisco taking place from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 15, service will be suspended at the San Francisco – Shopping Center (SFS) stop at Market & 4th streets, affecting connections with Capitol Corridor trains 727, 728, 729, 732, 733, 734, 736 and 737.

During this time period, buses will not pick up or drop off passengers at this location.
