Temporary Service Changes between Richmond and Martinez Due to Track Work
Between January 9 and February 12, from 7pm to 4am, the Union Pacific Railroad will be performing an important railroad tie replacement project between Richmond and Martinez. While all Capitol Corridor trains will operate during the project, select night trains will have minor schedule modifications resulting in 15-20 minute arrival delays into Sacramento. Other trains will have more significant schedule modifications along the route, and trains 551 and 548 will be replaced by chartered buses between Sacramento and Oakland Jack London.
