Connecting Buses Operating in Sierra, Saturday, March 17

Connecting buses in the Sierra are back in service. There are chain controls on I-80 and I-50, so passengers may experience minor delays.

Due to severe winter weather in the Sierra, which has closed I-80 in both directions, the Capitol Corridor has cancelled all connecting bus service on Friday, March 16 between Auburn and Truckee/Reno and between Placerville and South Lake Tahoe. Buses will operate between Sacramento and Auburn and between Sacramento and Placerville only. The following stops will not be served:

– Colfax, CA
– Truckee, CA
– Reno, NV
– Sparks, NV
– South Lake Tahoe Transit Center, CA
– Stateline Transit Center, CA
– Kingsbury Transit Center, NV
