Emeryville Station Parking Lot Closed for Construction – New Parking Location at Terraces Parking Garage

Philip Krayna News Archive, Service Alerts

The parking lot at the Emeryville Station is closed due to the construction of a new parking garage and office buildings on the site. Passengers parking at this station must use the spaces available in the nearby Terraces Parking Garage, located adjacent to the station at 5855 Horton St. Up to 125 free, unmarked parking spaces have been made available here for intercity rail passengers on a first-come, first-served basis. If all 125 spots fill up, a passenger parking at this garage must pay the $20 daily fee. Please read the instructions below on how to use this garage.

Daily or Multi-Day Riders
If you are using the garage for one or more consecutive days, you must take a parking ticket upon entering the garage. In order to receive free, validated parking as a Capitol Corridor rider, you will need to go to the train station and request a parking pass decal and a daily access card from the station agent. The parking pass decal must be placed in a visible location on your windshield for the entire time you are parked at the garage. Keep the daily access card with you as you will need it to access the parking garage stairs and elevators when you return to your car. Please arrive early to allow extra time to go to the station for your parking pass decal and daily access card.

When you return to the station and exit the parking garage, you must return your ticket, parking pass decal, and access card to the parking garage attendant, who is stationed at the exit. The attendant will be available during station hours from 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. If you do not return these items, you will be charged $20 per day for parking.

Monthly Ticket Riders
Monthly ticket holders who access this station may request a monthly access card good for the duration of their monthly ticket. You can renew our monthly access card with the purchase of a new monthly ticket. In order to streamline the renewal process, please purchase a new monthly ticket a few days in advance of your current month’s expiration.

Ten-ride ticket holders are not eligible to receive a monthly access card and must request an access card for each visit.
