New Procedures for Onboard Ticket Sales

Effective November 15, 2016, passengers traveling on Capitol Corridor trains who wish to purchase tickets onboard with a credit card, must have an email and billing address, and will need to provide the conductor with personal and payment information, for entry into the Amtrak mobile app on the conductor’s device. No surcharge will be added to the fare. Cash purchases: Conductors will no longer provide change for cash payments onboard Capitol Corridor trains.

We advise passengers to purchase tickets prior to boarding, either online at capitolcorridor.org, or via the Amtrak app on a mobile device. Quik Trak machines are also available at most stations. More details can be viewed here.
