July 4 Service to Run on Weekend/Holiday Schedule, Plus Some Holiday-Related Bus Stop Suspensions

In observance of Independence Day, the Capitol Corridor will operate according to the weekend/holiday schedule on Tuesday, July 4, 2017.

Also on July 4, connecting bus service to/from the Pier 39 (SFW) and Financial District/Hyatt (SFF) stops will be suspended from 6pm to midnight due to Independence Day celebrations in those areas.

The following connections will be affected:

  • Bus 6647 connecting from westbound train 747
  • Bus 6694 connecting to eastbound train 744

All other San Francisco connecting bus stops will have regularly scheduled service. Capitol Corridor passengers going into San Francisco may also connect to BART at the Richmond or Oakland Coliseum stations. BART provides direct service to downtown San Francisco, and discounted BART tickets, as well as Muni tokens, are available for purchase in the Café Car of the Capitol Corridor.

Bus Service Suspensions to Sparks and Colfax for Holiday Festivities

On Saturday, July 1, and Tuesday, July 4, connecting bus service to Sparks, NV (SPX) will be suspended from 4pm to midnight due to Independence Day celebrations in the area.

The following connections will be affected:

  • Bus 3578 connecting from eastbound train 728
  • Bus 3534 connecting from eastbound train 732

Passengers will be able to travel by connecting bus as far as Reno, and from there, you can take a Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County (RTC) bus to Sparks. Visit www.rtcwashoe.com/public-transportation for RTC schedule information.

On Monday, July 3, connecting bus service to Colfax, CA (COX) will also be suspended due to their annual Independence Day parade.

The following connection will be affected:

  • Bus 3534 connecting from eastbound train 532
