Service Advisory: March Events affecting S.F. Motorcoach Bus service

Sunday Streets – Sunday, March 10, 2013

As a result of the Sunday Streets activities in San Francisco on Sunday, March 10, 2013, the following temporary changes will be in effect between 9:30 AM and 5:30 PM:

The San Francisco Ferry Building Annex (SFC) station will be moved a block west to Mission and Steuart Streets. Station staff will be on site at the Ferry Building to direct passengers to the alternate stop.

The San Francisco Fisherman’s Wharf/Pier 39 (SFW) and San Francisco – Financial District (SFF) stations will have no service. Passengers who normally use these stations should walk along The Embarcadero to Mission St. (total walking time 20-30 minutes) then cross The Embarcadero and walk two blocks west on Mission St. Or take F-Market streetcar (S2 fare) to the alternate SFC stop.

This temporary change will affect connections to Capitol Corridor trains 727, 728, 729, 732, 733, 734, 736, 737, 738, 741 and 742.

 

St. Patrick’s Day Parade – Saturday, March 16, 2013

As a result of the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade in San Francisco from 10:00 AM-3:00 PM on Saturday, March 16, 2013, service will be suspended at the following stations:

San Francisco – Shopping Center at Market & 4th (SFS)

San Francisco – Financial District (SFF)

During these times, motorcoach buses will not pick up or drop off passengers at these locations, Passengers wishing to connect with trains from these locations can use the San Francisco Ferry Building Annex (SFC) station located at 101 The Embarcadero at Mission Street or utilize Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) to the Richmond station, where connections can be made to Capitol Corridor trains.
