Capitol Corridor Nominated “Best Scenic Train Ride” for USA Today Best10 Poll

Riders always tell us how much they love the scenery along the Capitol Corridor. We couldn’t agree more, and apparently the word is out because we’ve been nominated by USA Today for Best Scenic Train Ride! Now it’s up to readers to vote. We hope you’ll take a moment to cast your vote for us and share with others. Voting is open until May 20, and you can vote once a day!

Gear Up for Bike Month!

May is Bike Month

Whether you ride your bike every day, or you’re thinking about giving it a try, there’s no better time to two-wheel it to the train than in May. Why? Because May is Bike Month and throughout Northern California, bicycle groups are chock full of information and incentives to ease you into this healthy habit.

And, because the Capitol Corridor has so many bike enthusiasts who use our service, we participate in a number of Bike Month and Bike to Work Day (BTWD) activities. Check out our blog post to see how we’ll be celebrating, including our annual Bike to Work Day Cappy Hour on Thursday, May 9. Enjoy discounted drinks on all trains between 3 and 8pm, and on Train 538 (San Jose to Martinez) and Train 545 (Sacramento to Jack London Square) we’ll have complimentary food and official BTWD messenger bags for those who rode their bike to work, play, or wherever!

Save the Dates!

Ridership Up for 18th Consecutive Month

Ridership increase

Demonstrating its vital importance to the Northern California Megaregion, the Capitol Corridor continues to attract more riders. March 2019 marked an 18-month streak of consecutive year-over-year ridership growth, and we want to thank you all for choosing our service!
